Guitar Holidays at Zebrabar in Senegal

March 14–21, 2027

A week of guitar, music, holidays, and fun ! Playing guitar together, singing, eating, going on excursions, and relaxing.

Everyone contributes what they can. If you can play a couple of simple melodies and feel like singing, this week is just right for you. Or are you already more advanced? Then we look forward to playing and jamming together with you.

You should be able to play a few basic chords so you can comfortably keep up and play along in the group. Guitar and vocals are at the heart of it. If anyone wants to bring percussion, a cajón, or another instrument – you are very welcome to add to the mix. Two djembes will be available.

The Music

I will upload six pieces to YouTube that I play myself and know well. From these, you can vote for your favorites – we will work on the most popular ones together.

If you like, you can also suggest a favorite piece of your own that you would love to play in the group.

Sometimes we play as a duo, sometimes in a quartet, sometimes all together. If you prefer, you can just sing on a song or jump on a djembe. The goal isn’t to play every piece perfectly, but rather to create something together that wasn't there before.

At the end of the course, we will play a small farewell concert together at Zebrabar.
